2023-2024 Committees

Committees are a way for the IRF to include different people and opinions from all over the community. It’s a way for you to contribute to the progress of certain aspects of the sport.

This year, we launched 5 different committees on topics that we believe are important to move forward on. Here’s a summary of each of the committees:

  • Rules Committee (rules@roundnetfederation.org)

    • Goals

      • Implement a mechanism to propose and vote on new rules

      • Determine how changes and new rules should be published

      • Evaluate the current ruleset and consider ways to remove ambiguity

      • Create curriculum and certification pathway for observers

      • Implement a system for tracking and updating certified observer database

    • Goals

      • Create a point system to evaluate countries and continental regions

      • Use developed system to generate current rankings basedon Worlds 2022 results

      • Determine system to be used for 2024 Worlds initial seeding and bracket seeding
