Jerseys from official jersey sponsor KBS

KBS has been selected as the official jersey sponsor of Worlds 2024! They outfitted a few National Teams in 2022 and will now be making their high quality, affordable packages available more broadly. While each NGB is free to select their own jersey provider, we think the KBS offering will be a no-brainer. Plus, their deep knowledge of our standards will ensure that jersey guidelines are followed consistently.

You can find all information about the packages and requirements on the KBS website. You’ll also to be able to contect them directly to start creating your country’s jersey for Worlds 2024!

If your NGB decides to select a different jersey provider, please have a look at the requirements below.

National Team Jersey Requirements

For IRF World Championships, all participating players representing a country’s National team must wear jerseys of identical color and design.

  • Tank tops, short sleeve jerseys and long sleeve jerseys may all be worn during the same game as long as styling is consistent between all options.

  • Base layers must be black, white or a matching color to the jersey.

  • If possible, we recommend that teams have two jerseys of distinctly different colors, one predominantly light and one predominantly dark. On the predominantly light jersey, accent colors should be black or correspond to colors from that team’s national flag. The dark jersey’s main color should correspond to a color from the team’s national flag. If it is not possible to have two jerseys, then the one should be predominantly dark.

  • Jerseys must have the country flag on the front. It is encouraged that the design clearly depicts the country represented. (see template KBS site)

  • Jerseys do not need to include numbers or last names but can include that if desired.

  • A limited number of sponsors are allowed on National Team Jerseys. On the front of the jersey (shirt and shorts), NGB’s sponsors must not conflict with the title sponsor, Spikeball (ie cannot be another roundnet manufacturer). Competing sponsors can be present on the back of jerseys or shorts. The template on the KBS site shows the allowable placements for sponsors on jerseys, including the placement of the event’s title sponsor.

  • Uniform bottoms (ie shorts) worn by players on the field must be of identical color. Shorts are permitted to have sponsor logos.

  • The IRF reserves the right to suspend players or fine teams who fail to meet the uniform requirements.

NGBs that decide to get their jerseys through official partner KBS don’t need their designs approved by the IRF, since KBS is aware of our standards and requirements. If you decide to use another jersey provider, please send your designs to the IRF for approval before starting production. IRF approval can take up to 2 weeks. The template for the jerseys can be found on the KBS website and are the same regardless of jersey provider. However, if you have a non-KBS jersey provider, the KBS logo on the sleeve is not required and can be used for a different sponsor.

Assets

Below are some assets you might want to use in your jersey designs. Be aware that while the IRF logo and event logo are optional, the Spikeball logo is required to be used in your jersey design. To see where they should be placed, please consult the KBS website for the jersey template.
