We are excited to welcome you to Surrey Sports Park, a world leading sports facility on the outskirts of London to host the 2nd Roundnet World Championships.

Surrey Sports Park has hosted 16 Olympic and Paralympic teams for pre-London 2012 training camps including GB Basketball, Singapore, USA Triathlon and Chinese Synchronised Swimming. They were the venue for the 2013 Danone Nations Cup, 2010 IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup, Jordan Brand Classic, inaugural ParalympicsGB SportsFest, FIE Beazley Trophy and a number of other events, activities and training camps, most recently the Women’s Lacrosse World Cup in 2017 (see below). We can't wait for athletes across the world to utilize their incredibly high standard pitches, accommodation and extra facilities.

This world championships will have everything players and spectators need to enjoy the experience of the biggest roundnet tournament in history:

Player accommodation package

Similarly to Worlds 22, we want to create an experience where all players sleep, eat and play on-site. Players will be able to book an all-in package which will include accommodation in the athlete village and breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available ONLY for competing athletes and two support staff (e.g team manager and medic) per NGB.

Accommodation will be available from:

  • Wednesday 28th August – Sunday 1st September

  • Thursday 29th August – Sunday 1st September

The venue will assign your rooms, however you can swap once you have arrived.

Note: Athletes can check out early but must pay through until Sunday. Accommodation on site is not available through to Monday.

Food

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided for every athlete that books accommodation. Only dinner will be provided on Wednesday 28th. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on Sunday 1st September.

Athletes will be catered for at their accommodation for breakfast and dinner and at the event site for lunch.

Charge: £ 63 / $ 79 / € 73 per night including food

Spectators

Spectator packages will be available, as well as the ability to get food on-site. More info on this will be added soon!

Transportation

⚠️ Important: don’t forget your passport and make sure to apply for the correct visas to enter the United Kingdom should you require them

  • If arriving to the UK via the EuroTunnel (‘LeShuttle’):

    • Follow the M20 towards London, once through Maidstone take the M26 (keep left, towards A20) and continue straight on to the M25 towards Woking.

    • Take exit 10 of the M25 towards Guildford and then follow signs for Surrey Sports Park.

    If arriving to the UK via the ferry into Dover:

    • Take the A20 towards Folkestone and follow the above directions.

  • All trains from Europe arrive into London St Pancras.

    From here, take the Victoria Line (Southbound) and get off at Oxford Circus. Then take the Bakerloo line (Southbound) to Waterloo train station. Finally, take any South Western Railway Service (towards Portsmouth Harbour) and get off at Guildford station.

    Surrey sports park is only a short walk from Guildford Station and signs will guide the way.

    London Underground services accept contactless card. If you do not have a contactless bank card, you can purchase a ticket at the station.

    Buy your South Western Railway Tickets in advance (here) and make sure to check the train timetables in advance before you start your journey (the last direct train to Guildford from Waterloo on a weekday leaves at 18:30).

  • Players and spectators can fly into Heathrow or Gatwick.

    From Heathrow:

    • Player should take the RA2 RailAir Direct Bus from Guildford

    • These are regular affordable busses that should run regularly.

    From Gatwick:

    • Players should take the regular direct train from the airport to Guildford. You can book tickets here.

    • Make sure to check the train timetables in advance before you start your journey (the last direct train to Gatwick Airport from Waterloo on a weekday leaves at 23:22)
